Bayseitova National Opera and Ballet Theatre
The theater was opened in 2000. It was named in honor of the outstanding Kazakh singer Kulyash Bayseitova in order to perpetuate her memory.
The theater is the bearer of the traditions of Kazakh and world musical culture. Since its opening, the repertoire of the National Theater has included masterpieces of national and world musical heritage, as well as new works that contribute to the development of the opera and ballet genre in Kazakhstan. The first artistic composition was formed from graduates of the Kazakh National Academy of Music, the Kazakh National Conservatory. Kurmangazy, Almaty Choreographic School named after A. Seleznev, Eurasian National University named after L.N.Gumilyov, as well as promising talented artists and experienced masters of the stage.
