The Palace of Peace and Concord

The Palace of Peace and Harmony is a one—of-a-kind architectural structure, which houses the Museum of Culture, the University of Civilizations, as well as an opera house with 1,500 seats. Supports all the splendor of 4 powerful supports – symbolic "hands of the world". The author of the unique project is the renowned British architect Norman Foster. The pyramid connects the left and right sides of the Ishim. Steel, aluminum, a lot of special glass structures, unique technical ideas, architectural innovation – the structure is like a miracle. The panoramic elevator allows everyone to admire the beauty of the green terraces and the play of light pouring from the dome of the pyramid. It is even more interesting to make a walking ascent to the top: to walk along hanging stairs through the "hanging gardens of Astana". The majestic pyramid is visible from both banks of the Ishim. At night, its top glows from the inside.
